Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies
Hi everyone!
Today I am going to share one of my most favorite baking recipes of all times!
If you do everything right, the cookies will turn out very pretty, crunchy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside!
So, you are going to need:
Kitchenery: 1 big bowl
1 smaller bowl
2 spoons
A mixer
Baking paper
Ingredients: (I'm also going to put volume in ml, cause I am normally using a measuring cup)
2 1/4 cups of flour (about 450 ml in total)
1 teaspoon of baking soda (or baking powder)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3/4 cup sugar (about 150ml)
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (not obligatory)
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup dark chocolate chips
Cooking:
1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
2. Mix together flour, soda, and salt in a smaller bowl.
3. Mix together butter and sugar in a big bowl until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing everything together with a mixer. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4. Mix in the dry ingredients to form a soft dough. Stir in the chocolate chips and mix until they are evenly distributed in the dough.
5. Take a baking tray and lay it with a baking paper. Using two spoons, put the balls of dough (about 1.5 inch big) onto the tray leaving about 2 inches between them.
When I do it, about 12 cookies fit on one tray.
6. Bake for about 11 minutes or until they become slightly golden. Lay a big sheet of baking paper on the table and lay the cookies out on it to cool the down. Repeat the 5th step until all the dough is used up.
I normally get about 40 cookies from this amount of dough, but don't get scared by this number - they will be gone in a blink of an eye! :)
Try this recipe and please leave comments down below how it turned out!)
Have a very nice day!
Yours,
Maria.
