Review: Herome Nail Growth Explosion Serum
In the Netherlands drugstores often have sales like "Buy one, get second one for free" of a certain brand. So, once I came across such a sale for Herome nail products. I have already tried their nail hardener, which I absolutely loved, since my nails are very weak and easily breakable by their nature. But a little accident happened to mine during the flight, so I had to get a new one. I couldn't make a choice until I saw this Serum. So, I got two products for 12.70 Euros, which is the price of a Serum alone.
As a kid I used to bite my nails a lot, which completely screwed up their shape and growth ability (so don't let your kids bite their nails!). I've been doing everything I coulld to have my hands pretty: paid enormous amounts of money for the artificial nails made for me, bought glue-on nails, and so on. when I tried Herome Nail Hardener, nails became thicker and stronger, but they still didn't grow much.
So I've decided to give this Serum a go. All you have to do is apply it on your nails for 14 days, one little drop for each nail. After that you decide for yourself whether you want to keep using it or if that is enough for you. I started off with this state of nails:
Quite ugly, right? My main problem was that even if the nails would grow a bit, at some point there would be a crack right at the root, so I would have to cut them all off.
So, I've started using the Serum every day, and did so for about 14 days in total (sometimes I would skip a day though, cause I tend to forget stuff :) ). After that, I started using Herome Nail Hardener according to the instructions. You have to apply one coat of it on the first day, second coat on the second day, and remove them on the third day and start over with one. So whenever I had to remove it and reapply it, I would still use Serum before the nailpolish. And I did so for about 14 days more. After that I would occasionally apply the Hardener, but wear it more like a transparent nail polish instead of treatment.
After 14 days of using just Serum, my nails grew quite a bit already. But as I started using it together with the Nail Hardener, the results amazed me. So, within about 2 months from the beginning of treatment, I ended up with my nails looking like this:
Funny thing though, whenever I used to use the fake nails, I would pursue exactly this length. And it was the first time in mylife that I've had nails that long and that strong. So I would give the combination of Serum + Nail Hardener a 10/10!!!
However, I must say, that even when you get to the desired result, it's better not to stop using these products at least occasionally. I did, and my nails unfortunately broke. But I started using the same combination again, and I am sure it will get me back to this.
So, my conclusion is that if you have troubled nails, you should definitely check Herome products out. They are quite pricey, if you don't get any discounts (Serum = 12.70 euros + Nail Hardener = 11 euros), but I must say that the results are worth every cent to me.
